Two and a half years!

This guy is a very important part of my life, and he's helped me grow not only as a photographer but as a person. He's always there for me, and I love him so much.
Our two and a half years was on February 23rd, and of course that was enough of an excuse for me to want to go out and take pictures of us. I always love looking at ideas for photography and recently I have loved using these cute little chalk boards on shoots. Whether it's for an anniversary, a special occasion, a save the date, or a baby name for a maternity shoot, I think it's an adorable prop to to add to any photoshoot!
One of my favorite times of the day to take pictures is late evening for what is called "Golden Hour". The light is absolutely beautiful, and just adds this gorgeous (you guessed it) golden light to the image!
I also love adding lens flare to the image! A lot of photographers may not like this, and avoid it at all costs by using their lens hoods, but whenever I can incorporate lens flare or just that added bright light across the image I take advantage of it!
